Childhood Dreams Orphanage was established in
1961 by Mama Shari, a young widow who was never
able to have children of her own. When she lost her
husband she decided that she would open up her home
to children in need. She seemed like an angel from
above, there to care for these children. She was so
loving and caring, very mother like. However, Mama
Shari had a darker side to her that no one knew
except for her victims. Feeling that god had turned
his back on her by taking her husband and not
allowing her to have children of her own, Mama
Shari began to dabble in witchcraft. Over time she
became obsessed with the Ouija board, which, she
believed was her direct connection to Satan. As she
dabbled further into her obsession with devil worship,
she became very abusive with the orphans. And, in
some cases, she would use them in sacrificial rituals.
In 1974, after 13 years of secretly practicing
witchcraft and holding satanic rituals of
sacrificing the children, she knew it was a matter of
time before the town would start questioning the
unexplained disappearance of the orphans. She
decided it all had to come to an end with a final
sacrificial ritual on October 31, 1974. Mama Shari
began to make preparations to sacrifice the
remaining orphans on Halloween night.
Little did she know that the orphans had grown
aware of her plans to sacrifice each one of them.
The orphans began to ban together to protect
themselves from this evil house mother.
On the night of October 31, 1974, Mama Shari
began to round up the orphans. When she
attempted to lead them downstairs to the sacrificial
room, the children saw their opportunity. When she
turned her back on them, they pushed her down the
stairs, injuring her. The children decided to seek
revenge for all the abuse they have taken from her
over the years and for their lost siblings, whom
they know, were sacrificed by her. The children tied
her up and decided to burn her body. After setting
Mama Shari on fire, the children thought that her
reign of terror had finally come to an end. But,
with Mama Shari's dying breath, she placed a
curse upon the orphanage; that all of their dreams
would turn into nightmares.
Even after Mama Shari's death, the children
continued to disappear one by one in a gruesome
manner, until there were none left. The town was
in such a moral panic with the disappearance of the
children that they shut the orphanage down
forever. But, to this day the orphanage still
remains, containing all the childhood nightmares that
were once innocent dreams...
